Because we work with natural
stone direct from Mother Nature herself and not a product off the end of
an assembly line, our stones are not uniform in size. Some of our
stones are very round and thick with
little working surface area, while others are much thinner with larger
surface areas in which we can
create your requests.
Our “Basic Size Guidelines”
and
what amount of writing/graphics you can expect to have on a rock:
· Small size
– 7” work/canvas area, usually 1-2 lines with minimal graphics
· Medium Size
– 9” work/canvas area, usually 1-2 lines with one graphic
· Large Size
– 11” work/canvas area, usually 1-2-3 lines with graphic's)
· Ex-Large Size
– 13” work/canvas area, usually 2-3 lines with graphic's)
· Jumbo
– 15” work/canvas area, room to make a nice presentation that will be
seen from afar.

These
are our basic guidelines and sometimes a “judgment call” must be made on
the category in
which to size a stone.
